Founded by the art dealer Jay Jopling, the White Cube Bermondsey is the newest avatar of these galleries of the same name.
Opened in 2011, The White Cube Bermondsay is one of the largest art galleries in Europe, with over 5,000 m² of exhibition area. Since its creation, the White Cube Bermondsey has housed such exhibitions as that of American artist Theaster Gates (his first exhibition), a retrospective of Chuck Close’s photos, and a display of the work of Anselm Kiefer.
