L’Empanaderia is the latest fashionable spot in the 10th arrondissement in Paris, serving Argentine specialities such as empanadas, little parcels stuffed with meat, vegetables or fish.
Sabrina and Stephane, owners of the Asado Club (barbecue in Spanish), the well-known mobile food truck serving Argentine grills which has proved so popular, decided to open a new fixed venue devoted to Argentina.
They set up a stone’s throw from the Canal Saint-Martin. In a decor composed of coloured mosaics, 5 small tables and an open kitchen, the Empanaderia serves meat imported direct from Argentina and Uruguay and homemade empanadas, made to order! Of course the restaurant has also thought about vegetarians who can try their sweet potato empanadas.
