Le Voltaire, an excellent high-standard traditional bistro
Le Voltaire is a high-standard Parisian bistro, known for being the former home of the famous philosopher of the Enlightenment. It is one of the secret spots of the Academicians.
On a terrace overlooking the book seller’s stalls by the Seine, the headwaiter looks after his regular customers with care: the spot attracts members of the French academy, actors, writers and government ministers, gathered around the white-clothed tables. You can enjoy French dishes such as ray terrine, tarragon chicken… Le Voltaire is a sought after spot, located near the Orsay Museum (Musée d’Orsay) and the National Assembly (Assemblée Nationale).
