The Crazy Horse is a famous Parisian cabaret, started in 1951 and named after the Sioux tribe’s chief, who fought the American soldiers in the 19th century. The cabaret’s shows are a sensual illustration of the art of striptease.
The Crazy Horse describes itself as a “temple of sublime and celebrated femininity in the Paris nightlife”. The dancer’s routines are constantly renewed and the show scenes are interspersed with lots of traditional cabaret acts such as magicians and ventriloquists etc. The Crazy Horse is famous for its dancers who all have professional stage names, some quite well known. Guest stars like Dita Von Teese in 2007 and Noemie Lenoir in 2013 appear regularly in the shows.
