Just a stone’s throw from the Invalides, l’Arpège, chef Alain Passard’s three-starred restaurant is one of the top tables in Paris.
The restaurant is famous for its vegetarian and vegetable cuisine. Indeed vegetables have been given pride of place in all of his dishes since 2002, all carefully selected by the chef from his vegetable garden in Fillé sur Sarthe.
This is how Alain Passard came to create a ‘fruit and flower’ tart in 2008. Then came the apple pie, Tarte Bouquet de Roses, which was the first unique dish that l’Arpege copyrighted. Non-vegetarians can enjoy a de Chaussey lobster or a sublime poultry dish.
