Bryant Park, a French park in the heart of Midtown Manhattan

In the heart of Midtown Manhattan, New York’s most important business district, conceals a 3.9 hectare garden surrounded by skyscrapers: Bryant Park. This garden à la française, with its long tree-lined passages, was thus named in homage of the famous American romantic poet and journalist, William Cullen Bryant.

Inaugurated in 2009, High Line is a redesigned portion of the former Lower West Side railroad tracks. Nicknamed, “the world’s longest elevated greenway,” the 2.3 kilometre High Line is an urban park suspended above Manhattan’s streets.
